Why is Ratko Mladic taken to court, while Osama bin Laden was killed on the spot?

Because they could safely arrest him and he voluntarily surrendered. Bin Laden got justice. He is where he belongs. I don't think any of us would want to see his smiling face all over our televisions day and night, and the circus of the trial, and the press from every corner of the world. And all of would be for a foregone conclusion. Then there would be years of appeals while this man is permitted to stay alive at our expense. Bin Laden is fish food and the world is a better place for it.
