Is the Cuban blockade an excuse-shield to hide corruption 'n' drug traffic operations between the island & FL?

Tons and tons of cocaine from Bolivia, Peru or Colombia are smuggled in a daily basis through Cuba into Florida. There are many evidences of the huge corruption, Drug traffic, and organized crime that operates in the maritime borders of the Caribbean area; but violence is being spread across the border between USA/Mexico. The US media blame only on Mexico, and systematically denies and hide terrorism in Cuba and Florida. Why?
