Cant install virus software?

I recently had avast antispyware on my computer and uninstalled it because i found an old norton 360 cd. I installed the norton 360 and came to find out i didnt have the product key. So i uninstalled norton and tried to install avg antivirus free version. I downloaded the file but when i try to install it i get the following error: action failed for file avgtdix.sys:starting service... Error 0x80070014. Someone please help!
